With pride and sincere gratitude to our customers, we are pleased to announce that we recently planted our 12,000th tree, in partnership with Trees For the Future (www.treesftf.org.)

Since 1989, Trees for the Future has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and country programs, Trees For the Future has empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations.

GreenSewn scarves and wraps are made from colorful old vintage silk saris that would otherwise be headed to a landfill or put to a lower purpose use.  We collect the softest and prettiest old saris and lovingly recycle them into luxurious, authentic, ultra limited edition and gloriously colorful green fashion creations that are both sexy and sustainable. 10 trees are planted with every purchase.

Our next goal is 20,000 trees .  By shopping with a conscience you can help us get there. Help spread the word.  Give gifts that make a difference. Shop GreenSewn.com.
